Digital photograph of body art. 2014. This piece is the first in a planned series of images inspired by designs which confuse facial recognition software. Each of the models will be of mixed Inuit and non-Inuit ancestry, adding a layer to the "urban camoflouge". This particular title is a play on words. Not only am I asking if the computer can literally see me, I am asking the viewer if you can now identify me as Inuit through the use of Inuit symbols within the overall design.
